Wedding clients have so many options available to them at The Inns at St. Albans. Large or intimate gathering? Waterfall or tiered-grass landscape for the ceremony? Reception at The Studio Inn or Old Barn Inn?

“Everybody loves choices,” says Datra Herzog, owner of the historic destination and event venue. “That’s why we also give our brides and grooms a selection of caterers to choose from.”

Catering St. Louis is one of those options, and Carleen Kramer, who has consulted with many a bride over her 28 years at the company, considers The Inns “the ultimate in destination, fairytale weddings.”

Carleen loves working with brides at The Inns in particular, she says, because they generally aren’t afraid to be a bit adventurous and are very receptive to new ideas. Outdoors ceremonies and cocktail hours in the courtyard of The Studio Inn followed by receptions on the pavilion of Old Barn Inn rank among her favorite nuptials here. “Again,” she says, “storybook weddings at their best!”

Catering St. Louis operates out of just 13 event venues in and around the city. With 35 years of experience in the business, the caterer is a master of tasteful (pun intended) weddings of all styles – rustic, sophisticated, traditional, modern, cozy or glam!

“But we are so much more than menus,” notes Carleen. “Beyond food and beverage selections, we offer complete planning services and can assist couples in selecting and arranging for décor, flowers or whatever the client needs.”

Inns’ clients who select Catering St. Louis as their wedding caterer are assigned their own wedding coordinator with loads of experience behind them. “Our planners are ‘wedded’ to the client until the actual wedding takes place,” explains Carleen. “We’ve got an extraordinary group of planners on staff who earn us many accolades and top ratings.” For the last seven years, in fact, Catering St. Louis has earned The Knot’s “Best of Weddings” award and even sits in The Knot’s “Hall of Fame.”

With menus geared to seasonal offerings and an ability to accommodate any special dietary or ethnic requests, “we do our best to listen to our clients and provide just what brides and grooms envision,” says Carleen.
