Valentine's Day at The Inns at St. Albans

Ready to for some fun and delicious dining with your Valentine? Spend some time “Inn Love” at The Inns at St. Albans Feb. 11-12. We’re taking things back to the days when the beloved Malmaison welcomed diners to our property. For this weekend only, guests can enjoy lunch coupled with French cooking demonstrations; a wine education class; and/or a five-course French dinner with wine pairings. IASA Valentine's Day Cupid

"Inn Love" at The Inns at St. Albans

Our “Inn Love” lineup of events takes its inspiration from beloved Old Barn Inn predecessor, Malmaison. Come mid-day Saturday to enjoy lunch and sit in on French cooking demonstrations. In the afternoon, a beverage industry expert enlightens us on the proper way to pair wines with a meal. In the evening, return to “Malmaison” for cocktails and a romantic five-course wine dinner.

Schedule of Events:

Saturday, Feb. 11th

12:30 p.m. – Lunch/Cooking Class at International Choux Co.
$70/person plus tax

4 p.m. – Wine Education Class presented by BreakThru Beverages
$67.50/person plus tax

7 p.m. – Cocktails and Dinner at “Malmaison”
$175/person plus tax

If you’d like to stay the night or the entire weekend, double-occupancy rooms are available at The Lodge or through a cottage rental on the grounds of Old Barn Inn. Groups of four to eight can reserve Link’s Cottage, the Farmhouse or The Studio Inn.

Inspired by the beloved French dining destination that once graced these grounds, the evening’s five-course menu is as follows:

Served with creamed leeks and orange-braised fennel
Paired with Blindfold Blanc de Noir

Dover Sole a la Meuniere
Served with braised lentils, micro greens tossed with champagne vinaigrette

Filet de Boeuf en Croute
Served with parsnip purée roasted vegetables and Bordelaise sauce

Cancellation/No-Show Policy: Due to the unique nature of this event, we cannot offer refunds or credits for cancellations. Tickets, however, are fully transferable.
