Boasting front-row views of picturesque Lake St. Albans, The Lodge invites guests to sit awhile, rest and recharge in her calming surrounds. Whether you’re indoors or out on the porch or veranda, there’s calm and peace everywhere you turn.

In the lobby, an inviting leather sofa and chairs flank a stone fireplace. The walls feature artwork by local painter Bryan Haynes; elegant light fixtures dangle from the ceiling; and warm wood tones bring the outdoors in. A striking central staircase leads to additional common spaces where guests are welcome to take a seat, snuggle up with a book or gather for conversation indoors or out on the covered porch.

Each of The Lodge’s beautifully designed bedrooms – available in a range of king bed, queen bed and double queen bed configurations – is bathed in cool hues, luxury linens and cozy seating areas. Pastoral landscapes by Haynes once again dot the walls; warm metal fixtures bring in additional light; and custom tilework in the baths creates a spa-like environment. A mix of warm wood furnishings, light and airy fabrics on headboards and chairs, and hardwood floors complemented by beautiful area rugs lend a sense of “home” to each room. Here, every design element has been handpicked room by room; each detail carefully considered. And while no two spaces are alike, serenity is the common thread and unifier.

Ample natural lighting pours into each guestroom by way of large – if not full floor-to-ceiling – windows or glass-paned doors. Many first floor accommodations offer direct access via French doors to The Lodge’s expansive front porch, where rocking chairs beckon visitors to take in the calming lake views.

Additionally, The Lodge offers a fitness center and a large meeting space with adjacent kitchen. Here, a beautiful rustic table at the center of the space breaks into six individual tables to accommodate smaller group-seating arrangements. Beautifully upholstered chairs ensure attendees are able to sit through hours-long gatherings, and a large-screen television allows for various types of presentations and displays. From family reunions to corporate meetings, The Lodge makes an ideal setting for gatherings of up to 25 people.
