It’s rare to sit down at a table anymore in the absence of a gluten-free diner. Learn how to easily accommodate this special diet or make gluten-free swaps for yourself with the help of Chef Anna Long. Choose from one of two lunch sessions.

CookINN Class: Gluten-Free Gatherings

AT THE INNS AT ST. ALBANS

The International Choux Co. welcomes Chef Anna Long back for some pointers on creating gluten-free recipes that’ll have everyone confident in their ability to cook and dine in the absence of this ingredient! Guests start with a refreshing spritzer then see Anna at work creating mouth-watering dishes of both the sweet and savory variety. Enjoy a light lunch and sweet treats during the demonstration-style class. Choose from one of two daytime sessions.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Hailing from Southern Illinois, Anna Long has a pretty sweet culinary background. While in culinary school in Louisville, she worked as a teacher’s assistant and on the pastry team, then launched her career at Blue Dog Bakery. In St. Louis, she worked at Basso and The Cheshire and became head baker at Winslow’s Home for four years. Long’s talent then led her to the kitchen at Sweet Katie Bee’s, an O’Fallon, Illinois, bakery specializing in allergy-friendly foods and special diets. Now married and mother of two, she hones her craft and satisfies sweet tooths making cakes, cookies and desserts for Cakes and Bakes.
