Ceremony Sites

The Inns at St. Albans offers two picturesque venues from which to exchange your vows. Our Garden Ceremony Site at Old Barn Inn is a beautifully tiered grass landscape that gives guests the perfect view of the ceremony. For more intimate and close-knit gatherings, our Waterfall and Courtyard Ceremony Sites at The Chateau featuring vineyard views and a waterfall is the perfect place to say “I do.”

Reception Venues

Old Barn Inn Pavilion
The Old Barn Inn is the larger of our two wedding venues. Receptions here are held on the outdoor pavilion with seating for 200. The expansive Old Barn Inn Pavilion can be heated seasonally. A commercial kitchen, patio area and modern restrooms make this venue ideal for more sizable weddings.

The Chateau Pavilion and Patios
Perched high in our hills, The Chateau offers a covered outdoor pavilion with seating for up to 120. Additionally, the venue’s surrounding garden and courtyard with breathtaking views of Chateau Hill Vineyard and the Missouri River set a stunning stage for elegant outdoor celebrations.

Accommodations for wedding parties and guests abound at The Inns at St. Albans. Four one-bedroom cottages adjacent to Old Barn Inn offer cozy stays for guests and pets alike. The Chateau sleeps 12 comfortably and includes a gourmet kitchen, billiards room, garden and private patio. Additionally, blocks of rooms can be reserved at The Lodge, our newly constructed, 12-bedroom residence in the heart of St. Albans Village. And whole-house rentals at The Farm House and Link’s Cottage are available as well.

Numerous venues throughout our property lend themselves to other uses in conjunction with wedding festivities. The doors of Old Barn Inn Restaurant, The Chateau, Head’s Store and even our cooking school, International Choux Co., can be opened to welcome guests for rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons and pre-wedding cocktail parties. Several outdoor courtyards and gardens also could be transformed to accommodate one of these types of gatherings and celebrations.

We also invite bridesmaids, groomsmen and friends of the betrothed to reserve a block of rooms or cottages prior to the wedding for bachelor or bachelorette weekends. Nearby golf courses, our cooking school and St. Albans Lake – plus many other area amenities and attractions – offer ample entertainment and relaxation for these getaways.

Do you offer overnight accommodations for the bride and groom?

Yes! Onsite luxury lodging is directly built into our destination wedding packages:

Old Barn Inn Package: Includes a two-night stay in our private Bridal Cottage, with three additional adjacent one-bedroom cottages. Together the cottages accommodate a total of 13 guests.
The Château Package: Includes a two-night stay at our magnificent six-bedroom estate, The Château, which sleeps 12 comfortably and offers a gourmet kitchen, billiards room and sweeping hilltop views.

Where can the rest of our wedding guests stay?

Instead of traditional, commercial hotel wedding venues, your guests can lodge right in St. Albans Village. We offer room blocks at The Lodge, a luxurious 12-bedroom residence with en suite bathrooms, as well as whole-house rentals at The Farm House and Link’s Cottage.

Do you provide onsite catering for wedding places on the property?

Yes. All food, beverage and bar needs across our reception venues are exclusively handled by our premiere onsite catering team overseen by a Michelin-starred chef. We essentially function as an all-inclusive wedding venue, meaning your tables, chairs, bar staff and catering coordinates directly through us to keep your planning stress-free.

Do you cater to small weddings?

Absolutely. If you are looking for a unique wedding setting near St. Louis appropriate for a smaller guest list, we are highly flexible. We can host a customized micro wedding experience or the small, intimate wedding of your dreams.

What about wedding-related parties?

Our property features numerous places to get married and host related events like welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, bachelor/ette parties and farewell brunches. Venues ripe for these celebrations include our International Choux Co. cooking school, historic Head’s Store and the Old Barn Inn Restaurant. Do you allow outside vendors?

Yes, we welcome outside vendors of your choice to be part of the planning and execution for your wedding. The only exception is our exclusive catering and beverage services. Pro tip: We highly recommend our couples hire a day-of coordinator and would be happy to refer you to our preferred vendor Proposing Dreams.

Are your garden wedding venues pet-friendly?

Yes! We love seeing four-legged family members play a role in weddings here, plus our one-bedroom cottages adjacent to the Old Barn Inn are pet-friendly accommodations.
