January 29 marks the start of the Chinese New Year, and locally renowned chef Chris Lee has curated a special menu for the occasion to promote longevity, prosperity, wealth and health. Personal growth is a prominent theme for the Year of the Snake, so join us for some learning – and fun – in the kitchen. Between cooking demonstrations, guests enjoy a light meal and specialty drinks. Two class times available.

Join us for a CookINN class with St. Louis-based chef Chris Lee to celebrate the Chinese New Year! Learn how to make a mean dumpling, Dan Dan noodles and sesame oil lemon cake while sipping on a signature cocktail and later savoring these traditional Chinese dishes.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Chef Chris Lee’s culinary career spans an extensive array of places and cuisines. His early training in classic French techniques had him training under Jean-Claude Guillassou [L’Auberge Bretonne], Marcel Keraval [Café de France], Terrence Hamner at the Ritz, and Richard Poi in New York. Additionally, he’s manned the kitchens of beloved restaurants like Café de France, Wild Flower, Balaban’s, Café Ventana, Sanctuaria, Hendrick’s, Diablito’s and Chuy’s. Lee is a two-time winner of Chef Battle Royale at Taste of St. Louis who enjoys teaching his craft.
