Hiking, Walking and Biking Trails

Visitors to The Inns at St. Albans have a variety of hiking, walking and biking trails at their disposal. The Engelmann Woods runs along the back of our property and is a Missouri Department of Conservation site. The trailhead is located just steps from Head’s Store. Additionally, the gardens throughout our property make for a spectacular walk, as does the lake path around Lake St. Albans. Our location also offers easy access to popular area biking paths.

Hiking, Walking and Biking Trails

Our destination offers travelers the opportunity to make new memories on lands that played an important part in much of our nations story, including those tied to Daniel Boone, Mark Twain, the Osage and other Native American tribes, and, as mentioned above, Lewis & Clark. Explore the hiking and biking trails that wind through this historic property.

Lake St. Albans and its surrounding walking/jogging path and adjacent playground present a range of opportunities to guests of all ages. Pack your fishing poles, sneakers, kayak/paddleboard and swimsuit to take advantage of the many activities centered around this beautiful body of water.
